Cash Application & Reconciliation
From payment received to fully reconciled: track every payment, match it to the right invoice, and trace applied amounts back to the source without leaving Salesforce.
Payment Tracking
Every payment applied to an account shows up on its Payments tab. Your team can see payment history without leaving the account record.
- Payment name, date, and type for every payment.
- The applied amount and which invoice it went against.
- A full payment history for each customer, in one place.
Cash Application
When a payment is received, Quick Receivable uses the available remittance information to match it to the right invoice or invoices and create the related Cash Application records.
- Splits one payment across several invoices when needed.
- Marks each match as Applied or Partially Applied.
- Keeps a full trail back to the original payment record.
Reconciliation and Traceability
When one payment covers several invoices, Cash Receipt Remittance Mapping keeps a record of how it was split, so anyone reviewing an applied amount can trace it back to the original Cash Receipt.
Handling Unapplied Cash and Exceptions
Not every payment matches cleanly on the first pass. Quick Receivable surfaces unapplied cash and exceptions separately so they don't get lost in the normal invoice queue, and supports manual matching from the Payment Workbench when remittance data is incomplete or ambiguous.
Where This Fits with Your ERP
Cash Application supports posting back to your connected ERP or accounting system, so applied payments stay in sync outside Salesforce as well. See Integrations for sync setup and schedule.
