Business Challenge

WillScot was preparing to sunset its legacy collections platform, GetPaid, while ensuring there was no disruption to ongoing receivables and dispute operations. This created three critical challenges

EOS of Legacy System

GetPaid was being decommissioned with a hard deadline, requiring a stable new Collections and Disputes platform before that date.

Limited Data Visibility

The existing process relied on a once-daily synchronization from SAP, resulting in outdated views of receivables, collections actions, and disputes for most of the business day.

Operational Continuity & Knowledge Retention

WillScot needed to ensure that open disputes, notes, and collector context from GetPaid were preserved, so that the transition did not affect collector effectiveness or customer experience.

To operationalize collections at scale, WillScot also needed better transparency into collector workload, dispute performance, and portfolio-level AR health across teams and locations.

Solution Overview

Differenz implemented Quick Receivables, a Salesforce-native Collections management solution, tightly integrated with SAP and tailored for WillScot’s operational model.

SAP Integration with High-Frequency Delta Synchronization

Quick Receivables was integrated with SAP using three daily delta loads (incremental data updates of new changed transactions since the last full load), significantly improving the freshness of receivables data versus the prior once-daily model.

Unified Collections & Disputes Platform on Salesforce

A centralized solution for collectors, supervisors, and leadership to manage accounts, invoices, disputes, and customer interactions from a single interface.

Seamless Data Migration from GetPaid

Migrated open disputes, customer contacts, and historical notes from GetPaid to preserve institutional knowledge and ensure continuity for collectors.

Automated Disputes, Tasking & Workflow Orchestration

Implemented intelligent task and dispute creation based on invoice aging, account priority and other attributes to structure collector workflows and improve focus on high-risk accounts.

Collector Productivity & Performance Dashboards

Delivered dashboards for leadership and supervisors covering CEI, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), account aging, dispute performance, and collector activity.

Enterprise-Ready Architecture

Built on Salesforce with a scalable design aligned to WillScot’s roadmap for Credit Management, real-time middleware integration, AI enablement, and historical data expansion.

Impact Delivered

01

Radical Transparency into AR & Collector Operations: For the first time, WillScot gained full visibility into:

  • How accounts are being worked
  • Which collectors are engaging which customers
  • How frequently follow-ups occur
  • How disputes and receivables actions progress
This created a step-change in accountability and operational discipline. Collectors now operate with complete visibility, while supervisors and leadership have clear insights to track performance, coach teams, and prioritize efforts.

02

Business Continuity During System Transition: Quick Receivables was stabilized and deployed ahead of GetPaid’s decommissioning deadline, ensuring :

  • No interruption to daily collections operations
  • No loss of dispute or customer interaction history
  • No disruption to billing or customer engagement flows
This protected WillScot from operational risk during a critical system transition.

Conclusion & Forward Roadmap

The Quick Receivables deployment has transformed WillScot’s Collections operations by introducing transparency, accountability, and resilience at a critical moment of system transition.
